Big Blue is here!

New recycling schedule!
Recycling is now being picked up every other week based on a rotating schedule. Customers have been assigned to a BLUE week or a WHITE week. Trash and yard waste will continue being collected weekly. Your collection day will also remain the same.

Is my recycling collected on a BLUE or WHITE week?

To find out when your recycling will be collected, follow these two simple steps:

Find out if you are on a BLUE or a WHITE recycling schedule by following the instructions below.

Click here to view the recycling collection schedule for 2013.

Read these instructions carefully to find out your recycling pickup week.

  • Enter your address in the search box in the following format: STREET NUMBER STREET NAME
  • A street number is not required for the search, but entering only a street name will bring up every address on that street
  • DO NOT enter the type of street (i.e. Road, Street, Drive, Lane, Rd., St., etc.)
  • If applicable, enter the street direction as a single letter without punctuation (i.e. South would be S)

For example, if you wanted to see what the pickup week would be for 1234 South College Road, enter "S College" or "1234 S College."

Click the "Search" button after entering your address

The new carts have lids that prevent recycling from blowing around and wheels that make it easier to bring your recycling out to the curb. This change is saving the city over $220,000 per year since recycling is only being collected every two weeks. It is also anticipated that 15-20% of recyclable materials will be diverted from the landfill.

What do I do with my old red bin?
