    The Wilmington Police Department is hosting two free Cop Camp sessions this year. Cop Camp provides local children the opportunity to positively interact with law enforcement. During the five-day camps children will participate in recreational activities, field trips, educational experiences and a community service project.

    Wilmington Fire units were dispatched to 1210 Lilac court this morning for a reported residential structure fire. On arrival units reported working fire conditions with moderate smoke coming from a single story residential duplex structure.

    Wilmington Fire personnel responded Sunday night April 16 at approximately 08:00 PM to a single family residential structure fire at 201 Kidder St. Fire crews arrived to heavy flames showing from the rear of the building. First arriving crews pulled fire attack lines and started fire control.

    Wilmington Fire Department responded to a fully involved residential structure fire at 1017 Francis Marion Drive on Friday April 7 around 05:00 in the afternoon. Upon arrival units began a defensive fire attack operation on the structure while protecting exposures.
