Cassidy Drive Drainage Improvement Project
Beginning in early February, the City of Wilmington will be performing drainage improvements along Cassidy Drive from the intersection of Bragg Drive to the intersection of Kirby Smith Drive. Work should take approximately three weeks.
Construction activities include grading and earthwork along roadside ditches and culvert (pipe) replacement parallel to Cassidy Drive. This will replace a failing corrugated metal pipe in the area and improve the city’s ability to perform long-term maintenance.
Cassidy Drive will be closed during pipe replacement, therefore please use an alternate route through the neighborhood.
Please be aware that construction dates are subject to change due to adverse weather or project conditions. Every effort will be made to protect your property and crews will try to complete work as quickly as possible. The city appreciates your cooperation and patience while improvements are being made.
