Inland Greens playground

Post Date:01/09/2019 12:55 PM
Playground at Inland GreensThe new playground at Inland Greens Park has been installed, completing the last of the planned improvements after the park opened in 2018. The park is located at 5945 Inland Greens Drive.

The city purchased the property in 2011 as part of the 2006 voter-approved Parks and Greenspace Bond. Before that, the facility was a privately-owned 18-hole par 3 golf course.

After making extensive drainage improvements, the city renovated the club house and installed a ¾-mile walking trail, as well as other amenities such as bocce courts, a picnic shelter, bike racks, new trees and a 9-hole par 3 golf course.

The public can sign up for tee times by phone at 910-765-7459 or online at www.inlandgreensgolf.com.
