NCDOT Public Meetings on CSX Rail Improvements scheduled for Feb 24 and 25
The NC DOT is proposing to improve some 13 miles of CSX Rail Line (the “Beltline) in Brunswick and New Hanover counties. The primary purpose of this project is to improve traffic flow and safety at the rail at-grade crossings and to increase the rail efficiency. At the meetings, project staff will be available to review maps, answer questions, and receive feedback. Interested citizens may attend at any time during the meeting hours. Please note there will be no formal presentation. The opportunity to submit comments will be provided at the meetings or may be done by calling 910-707-4726 or emailing Wilmingtonfirstname.lastname@example.org by March 10.
