Welcome to the City of Wilmington's Internal Audit webpage.  We are committed to serving our citizens by providing clear and concise information. The intent of the City's Internal Audit Division is to promote public accountability by ensuring that City resources are to be applied effectively, efficiently and economically.

We are interested in any suggestions you might have. This web page is a tool that provides convenient resources for the City's citizens, visitors and employees. If there are ways that we could better meet your needs, please let us know.

Audit Committee

The City's Audit Committee is made up of three City Council Members and City staff.  The purpose of the Audit Committee is to promote public accountability as well as to provide additional oversight for the various City financial policies and procedures.
