Safety Procedures will be in place due to COVID-19.

Drop off: Due to COVID-19 Summer Camp recommendations, we ask that parents/guardians and other members in the vehicle remain in the vehicle to limit the potential spread of the virus. Staff will greet parents/guardians at the passenger window of the vehicle and conduct a screening of camp attendees. The screening will include temperature checks and a parent/guardian questionnaire. If the child(ren) do not have a temperature exceeding 100.4 degrees, and the questionnaire has no “positive” indications of a child potentially being exposed to COVID-19, then the child(ren) are permitted to attend camp. If multiple children in the same vehicle or household are attending camp, and one child has a temperature exceeding 100.4 degrees, or the questionnaire has “positive” indications of child potentially being exposed to COVID-19, none of the child(ren) in the household or vehicle are permitted to attend camp for a minimum of 72 hours, fever free. A pro-rated refund or household credit will be provided. Screening is on a first arrival basis, so we ask that parents/guardians please be patient with Summer Camp staff as we screen all camp participants before they enter the facility. Staff will be directing vehicles to the designated drop off locations.

Pick up: Staff will walk child(ren) out to parent/guardian vehicles upon arrival. Due to COVID-19 Summer Camp recommendations, we ask that parents/guardians and other members in the vehicle remain in the vehicle to limit the potential spread of the virus. Staff will walk child(ren) out to parents/guardians on a first come first serve basis. Staff will be directing vehicles to the designated pick up locations.

Groups: Due to COVID-19 childcare recommendations, Maides staff will split up children in groups of ten, with a staff to child ratio of 1:10. Siblings and car riding groups will be required to remain together in groups, unless behavior modifications must be made. Groups will maintain social distancing recommendations.

Activities: Staff will offer activities that follow the recommended CDC Childcare guidelines. These activities may differ from normal activities such as tag and other activities that are considered “contact” activities.

Cleaning:. Staff members will be required to thoroughly clean the each room before and after a group enters and leaves. All horizontal surfaces, keyboards, computers, phones, chairs, door handles, toys and athletic equipment will be sanitized during each transition.
