The Wilmington Fire Department (WFD) will conduct a live-fire instructor training exercise at 4641 Fillmore Drive on Thursday, January 9th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Near-by residents and commuters are warned that smoke in the area is possible.

The department is excited to announce the start of the WFD Recruit Academy, Class of 2020. Thirteen new recruits will begin their career with the Wilmington Fire Department on Monday, January 6th.
