The City of Wilmington met with interested property owners on October 1, 2015 to review a preliminary design and discuss how the project might impact their properties.

This is the first of a two-phase, multi-year project that will eventually address flooding on New Centre Drive, which has long been a problem when it rains. During the meeting, property owners were asked to provide input on flooding and erosion concerns in their area.

The $9.6 million project will be one of the largest drainage/flooding improvement projects the city has ever done.
