The Commission’s purpose is to promote and endorse programs and policies to support, maintain and grow our urban forest, increase public education, and establish award and recognition programs as incentives to encourage a healthy, safe and attractive natural environment for the City of Wilmington.

About the Commission
12 members: (7) City residents, (2) at-large members, (3) ex-officio members with (1) each from Planning, Development & Transportation, Community Services and the City Arborist
Held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. Location: 5th floor conference room, CresCom Bank, 115 North 3rd Street
Terms on Commission
Each member is appointed by the City Council for a term of not more than (3) years. No member appointed by the Council shall be eligible to serve more than (2) consecutive terms.
