8th Grade Enviroscape Presentations
The Enviroscape is a scaled-down model of a watershed that enables students to visually learn about stormwater runoff, water pollution, water quality, watersheds, and stewardship through a speaker-led presentation.
Stormwater Services, in cooperation with New Hanover Soil & Water Conservation District and Cape Fear River Watch deliver Enviroscape education presentations to all 8th grade science classes in New Hanover County Schools. The presentation is integrated into the 8th grade science curriculum and meets the Essential Standard and several objectives for the Hydrosphere unit.
