Basketball Camp

We will offer two weeks of basketball camp.  Players will work on shooting, footwork and other basketball skills.   Note:  there is fee assistance available for basketball camp.  Please apply in person at MLK Center.

Summer Basketball Clinics

Wednesdays July 10 - August 21 Times:  6:30 - 8 pm
Ages: 10-14   Cost:  $30 (total cost for all 7 clinics)

Develop your basketball skills this summer at the basketball clinics offered at the MLK Center. Each day we will focus on different skills and concepts of the game to improve skills and knowledge of the game.

Tennis Camp

Tennis Camp for kids ages 5-15 will be offered.
All skill levels welcome from beginner to tournament player. 

Activities include:  Daily Drilling, Match Play, Games and more!
There will be a low player to coach ratio so that you can receive high 
quality instruction.

About the Camp Director: 
Tari Ann Toro is the manager for the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex at Empie Park. She has coached for more than a decade at the highest level of collegiate and junior tennis, and played professionally after graduating from the College of William & Mary. She coached for 5 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where they won an NCAA doubles championship, and were consistently ranked top five as a team in the nation. She enjoys working with all ages and levels

Nature Camps

Nature Discovery Camp  (Ages 5-6)    (CAMP I S FULL)

Campers will learn about the many habitats through nature walks, arts and crafts and  hands on opportunities 

Eco-Adventure Camp (Ages 10-13)
