Celebrate a Century of the Cape Fear Garden Club at Riverfront Park

Join us on May 7 as we celebrate the Cape Fear Garden Club’s Centennial — marking 100 years of beautification, preservation, and environmental stewardship in Wilmington!

As part of the celebration, we’ll unveil a statue by artist Dumay Gorham, placed within a specially designated urban garden (pictured above). To further honor CFGC’s legacy, the City is also dedicating 51 live oaks and presenting a commemorative plaque, crafted in partnership with Kids Making It. Thank you, Cape Fear Garden Club, Inc., for a century of service and inspiration. We look forward to celebrating with you!
