Cape Fear Creek Week Rain Garden Tour

People stand around an infiltration basin and listen to a presentaiton.

Join N.C. Cooperative Extension and the City of Wilmington’s Heal Our Waterways Program on World Water Day to explore rain gardens at the New Hanover County Arboretum.

Learn more about what rain gardens are, how they help protect our waterways, and what they look like in action through a short presentation and walking tour of the Arboretum grounds. One lucky attendee will even get to go home with a brand-new, FREE 50-gallon rain barrel!

The event is free, but registration is required. If spots are full, still sign up in case spots become available closer to the event. Click here to register.
