All city offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
City Trash Services will collect Thursday, November 27 routes on Wednesday, November 26. Thursday customers should have their carts out before 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov 26 (the evening before collection day is best practice). This also includes recycling for Blue Week customers. Bulky, metal, or electronic pickups must be scheduled by Tuesday, November 25 before 4:30 p.m.
Friday, November 28, collection is NOT changed.
Customers needing to schedule bulky, metal or electronics to be picked up on Friday, November 28 or Monday December 1, must schedule those services (by phone or online) no later than Wednesday, November 26 before 4:30 p.m. Please call 910.341.7875 to schedule a pick-up or to speak with a customer service representative.
Don't forget that all on-street, metered parking in downtown Wilmington will be free Thursday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 30 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Happy shopping!
