Tree Giveaway at Legion Stadium

Mark those calendars because our friends at Alliance for Cape Fear Trees are hosting a tree giveaway at Legion Stadium on Friday, December 5, from noon to 5 p.m.

Stop by and scoop up a pair of the 1,400+ native trees that will be distributed to the community. 

Tree species include: 

Southern live oak, Swamp chestnut oak, Southern red oak, Tulip poplar, Longleaf pine, American sycamore, Bald cypress, Red maple, Sweetbay magnolia, Blackgum, Persimmon, Eastern redbud, American hornbeam, and Pawpaw.

Need help picking the right tree for your yard? No worries! Certified arborists and tree stewards will be on hand to offer expert guidance, planting tips, and long-term care advice.
