City Implements Organizational Alignment

On March 9, the City of Wilmington implemented an organizational alignment designed to strengthen service delivery, improve efficiency, and better align resources with the City’s strategic priorities. City services will continue seamlessly throughout the transition.

In the coming months, updates to the City’s website will reflect the new structure and make it even easier to find information and connect with departments. These enhancements are part of a thoughtful transition focused on clarity, collaboration, and long-term effectiveness.

To support the transition, a revised organizational chart is attached outlining updated department descriptions and contact information for commonly used services.

This alignment represents a positive step forward and reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and providing excellent service to Wilmington residents.

As we update the website to reflect the new structure, some pages may temporarily contain outdated information. Updates are underway and will be completed soon.
