T-Ball

Step up to the plate with Wilmington Parks & Recreation’s T-Ball Program! Designed for young players, this introductory program focuses on fun, fundamentals, and teamwork in a supportive, no-pressure environment. T-Ball is the perfect way for kids to learn the basics of baseball while building confidence, coordination, and a love for the game. Register here!

Coach Pitch Baseball

8U - 12U Basketball League

Ages: 8U - 12U

Duration: October 29 - February 14, 2025

Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Location: MLK Center (401 S. 8th Street) or Davis Center (1101 Manly Avenue)

Fee: $35 

Homeschool Sports

Stay active, build skills, and make new friends with Homeschool Sports! This program is designed specifically for homeschool families, offering a fun and engaging way for kids to develop athletic skills, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. Each session introduces participants to a variety of sports and games in a supportive, non-competitive environment that encourages learning, movement, and social interaction. Register here!

Junior Officials Program

Step into the game with Wilmington Parks & Recreation’s Jr. Officials Program! Designed for teens and young adults, this program provides a hands-on introduction to sports officiating, helping participants develop leadership skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game.


Jr. Official Program (Basketball) 

Program Overview: Youth will be trained to operate the scorer’s table and officiate for Wilmington’s Basketball Leagues while developing leadership, professionalism, and life skills through interactive activities. The program includes outdoor recreation and team bonding, with opportunities for graduates to be hired as league officials!

Flag Football League

Get in the game with Wilmington Parks & Recreation’s Flag Football League! This fast-paced, youth-focused program emphasizes teamwork, skill development, and fun in a safe, non-contact environment. Perfect for players of all experience levels looking to learn the game and play hard all summer long. Registration opens on March 30, 2026.
