City Opens New Round of Civic Development Partner Agency Funding

The City of Wilmington is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the FY26 – FY28 Civic Development Partner Agency Funding Program. Non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status are invited to apply for civic partnership grant funding to support programming that shows leadership in economic development.

To be eligible, applicants must engage in one of the following activities:

Cultivate Wilmington’s cultural identity through the arts, attractions, or events.
Provide services to recruit, grow, or retain businesses within the city.

The activities should directly or indirectly enhance the City of Wilmington’s tax base, create jobs, or stimulate the local economy by attracting visitors.

Applicants must complete the online form and submit the required documents by Monday, January 31, 2025, by 3:00 PM. The City Manager’s Office will review applications, and recommendations will be included in the recommended budget for City Council approval.
