The City of Wilmington is updating its Technical Standards Manual to remain current with industry technologies, materials, and practices, while also providing guidance for land development code requirements. A draft of the first seven (7) chapters have been completed and are ready for public input. Public comment is expected to remain open until the end of June 2026. The chapters are as follows:

The remaining chapters will be released throughout the year for a total of eight (8) chapters. The city anticipates having finalized the updated Technical Standards Manual to present to Council by fall 2026. We look forward to your input.
